Beagle Channel Navigation, Penguin Rookery & Harberton Ranch

This journey invites us to discover the very essence of the End of the World, blending the vastness of the sea with the region's deep-rooted history. The adventure begins as we set sail from the Tourist Pier, venturing into the legendary waters of the Beagle Channel. As we navigate, we will visit Isla de los Pájaros (Bird Island) and Isla de los Lobos (Sea Lion Island) to witness marine wildlife in its pristine natural habitat, eventually reaching the iconic Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, the solitary sentry of our southern coasts.

The voyage continues toward the historic Estancia Harberton, the first ranch founded in Tierra del Fuego. Here, the experience unfolds in a way that ensures an intimate connection with the surroundings: while one group dives into the scientific wonders of the Acatushún Museum, the other crosses in Zodiac boats to Martillo Island. At this nature reserve, you will walk near the penguins, observing their behavior in a setting of absolute tranquility. Afterward, the groups swap activities so that everyone can enjoy both experiences. The return to Ushuaia is a scenic overland drive through the island’s rugged landscapes, arriving back in the city at approximately 6:30 PM.
