Discover the northern face of Mount Fitz Roy and the most secluded corners of El Chaltén on an adventure that combines navigation with exclusive trekking. The experience begins early with a journey along the legendary Route 40 towards the historic La Leona Roadhouse, a landmark stop perfect for a coffee break steeped in local history.

After skirting Lake Viedma, we arrive at El Chaltén to continue through a scenic mountain road to the southern tip of Lago del Desierto. There, we set sail across crystal-clear waters, enjoying unique views of the Huemul and Vespignani glaciers. Upon landing at the Vespignani Reserve, you can choose from three self-guided trails of varying intensity, all surrounded by native forests and offering spectacular panoramas of the north wall of Mount Fitz Roy.

The excursion includes a box lunch to enjoy in the heart of nature and time to soak in the tranquility of this pristine environment before starting the return trip to El Calafate, culminating a day of total immersion in Patagonia’s wildest landscapes.
