We will explore the mountain range visiting Potrerillos Dam, Uspallata, Puente del Inca, Aconcagua Mountain viewpoint, and Christ the Redeemer, observing the varied colors and landscapes of the region.
We begin at 07:30 following the Mendoza River, seeing Cordón del Plata and Potrerillos Dam (reservoir for energy and irrigation).
In Uspallata we'll visit the Huarpe settlement (southern point of Inca Empire) and the Vaults (where Fray Luis Beltrán cast cannons).
We'll tour the villages of Picheuta, Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas, and Penitentes ski complex (with free time for chairlift and panoramic views).
We'll reach Puente del Inca (natural formation with thermal waters) and the Aconcagua viewpoint (6959 masl).
Finally we'll ascend to 4200 masl to visit Christ the Redeemer (symbol of Argentine-Chilean unity) from Las Cuevas (3200 masl).
