Departing at 09:00 from Puerto Madryn, we'll travel along Provincial Route 25 to Ameghino Dam. We'll observe the landscape transition from flat plateau to the undulating terrain near the dam.

This hydraulic engineering project generates electrical power for the region. We'll admire the dam and emerald-colored lake, contrasting with the 200-meter-high red volcanic rock walls.

The area offers interpretive walks, sports activities, fishing, and full immersion in nature.
