This excursion combines two of the region's most spectacular wildlife attractions, starting early in the morning from Puerto Madryn. Our first stop will be the Port of Rawson at Playa Unión, where we will embark on an approximate 1-hour and 15-minute navigation for Commerson's dolphin watching (optional) —the smallest dolphin in the world and a truly fantastic experience.
Afterward, we will continue our journey toward Punta Tombo, the most important continental penguin colony in Latin America and the natural habitat chosen year after year by the Magellanic Penguin. There, we will have free time to walk along the trails among the nests and observe these incredible birds up close. During the tour, we can also spot other marine bird species —such as gulls, giant petrels, cormorants, oystercatchers, and steamer ducks— as well as native Patagonian steppe wildlife, including guanacos, maras, and foxes.
At the end of the tour, we will head back to Puerto Madryn.
Note: Entrance fees to the reserves and lunch are not included.
