With scheduled departures at 08:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 02:30 PM, this spectacular excursion invites travelers to live the unique experience of walking on the breathtaking Grey Glacier, part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field—the world's third-largest freshwater reserve. The adventure begins at the base camp located on the northeastern shore of beautiful Lake Grey. Here, certified guides will provide an introductory briefing detailing the route and schedules, followed by the fitting and adjusting of technical gear for each participant. Afterward, the group will take a 15-minute zodiac boat ride to the western arm of the glacier.

Upon arrival, you will step ashore onto a nunatak—an island of rock surrounded by ice—and hike for about an hour to reach the glacier itself. Before setting foot on the ice, the guide will deliver essential safety instructions and demonstrate proper crampon and walking techniques. Once prepared, a fascinating 3-hour exploration across this frozen giant begins, allowing you to marvel at deep crevasses, flowing meltwater rivers, lagoons, and ice tunnels sculpted in dazzling shades of blue. After capping off this unforgettable adventure, the group will head back to the base camp.
