Esteros del Iberá

The Great Wetlands of Argentina

Second only to the Pantanal in size, the Iberá Wetlands are a pristine, shimmering mosaic of lagoons, marshes, and floating islands. This is Argentina’s premier wildlife safari destination. Located in the heart of the Corrientes province, Iberá is a miracle of conservation where rewilding projects have brought species back to their natural habitats. It is a place of deep silence, broken only by the splash of a caiman or the call of over 350 bird species. Here, the experience is intimate, authentic, and profoundly connected to the water.
