This tour explores Valdés Peninsula (World Heritage Site) and its unique wildlife. We depart from Puerto Madryn at 7:30 am for a full day of wildlife viewing.

Our first stop is the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus Interpretation Center to learn about the area's flora, fauna and geology, with panoramic views of Nuevo Gulf, San José and Bird Island.

We then visit Puerto Pirámides, where you may optionally embark for whale watching (seasonal). We continue by land to Caleta Valdés, Punta Cantor and Punta Norte to observe elephant seals, penguins and sea lions (order may vary due to weather/tides).

Orcas can be spotted at Punta Norte (March-April) and occasionally at Caleta Valdés (September).

We return to Puerto Madryn at day's end.
