Itinerary
Day 1: Check-In in Punta Arenas
We will check in at the Prat Dock in Punta Arenas to board in the afternoon. Once on board, we will gather on the fifth deck for a welcome toast and to meet the Captain and crew. Shortly after, the ship will set sail toward the far south. Navigating through the legendary Strait of Magellan and the Beagle Channel, we will venture into Patagonia and the fjords of Tierra del Fuego.
Day 2: Ainsworth Bay & Tuckers Islets
We will arrive near the Marinelli Glacier in Ainsworth Bay to discover how life resurfaces following the retreat of the ice. We will set off on a hike through the stunning sub-Antarctic Magellanic forest. Next, we will visit the Tuckers Islets, where we will spot Magellanic penguins and cormorants from the Zodiacs.
*Due to the penguins' migratory patterns, during September and April this excursion is replaced by a hike near a glacier in Brookes Bay.
Day 3: Pia Glacier & Glacier Alley
We will sail through the Northwest arm of the Beagle Channel to enter and disembark at Pia Fjord. We will hike to a viewpoint offering stunning views of the glacier, whose main tongue extends from high up in the mountain range down to the sea.
Following this unforgettable experience, we will continue our voyage along the majestic "Glacier Alley," taking in the spectacular panoramic views right from the ship.
Day 4: Cape Horn & Wulaia Bay
We will arrive at Cape Horn National Park, where weather permitting, we will disembark to experience the thrill of stepping onto one of the southernmost points on Earth—a place steeped in legend and raw beauty. In the afternoon, we will land at Wulaia Bay, a historic site that once served as one of the largest settlements for the indigenous Yámana canoeists. We will hike up to a scenic viewpoint through a lush Magellanic forest filled with lenga, coigüe, cinnamon trees, and native ferns.
Day 5: Disembarkation in Ushuaia
Arrival in Ushuaia, Argentina's most important city in Tierra del Fuego and the southernmost city in the world.
